Senior Bookkeeper / Account Manager

About the Role

• Based in Melbourne VIC Australia
• Currently possess or studying a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant role
• Xero experience
• Dext experience

In-office role

Award-wage and entitlements

15-25 hours per week

A combination of set days/times with flexibility as long as deadlines are being met

We are looking for someone for 2-3 days a week, at least a Tuesday and a Friday and the other days are flexible. It could also be more days, but less hours per day to fit in with someone’s schedule.

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will have sound bookkeeping experience and be able to jump straight into client files and commence work. There will be client specific training, but BAS-related knowledge and demonstrated experience in Xero is essential.

As the business grows, so will the Senior Bookkeeper’s portfolio. Each client is individual, so a variety of tasks and responsibilities will present themselves along the way. The next progression would be to be a registered BAS agent and be able to lodge BAS’.

These are not role requirements, though it would be great if you have previous experience with:

• Asana
• Management reporting
• BAS lodgements
